I usually scan it twice a month and it will usually say "cookie detected" and will get rid of it at the click of a button. Its great as well because it has a pop-up blocker and a rating system for each website you visit and i trust it to the letter, so if i website is rated unsafe, i say well away from it. I prefer McAfee Inet Sec-V8.0 so much over Norton because with Norton it lets loads through and i get loads of cookies and other unwanted things on my laptop wich i then have to delete myself, and with Norton it is always crashing, and freezing which is a pain in the arse if you are in the middle of a virus scan.

Cons: System degradation, documentation, didn't deliver as promised
Summary: I have to admit that it was my mistake to download this package. Don't be a sucker like me and buy this package!
While I suppose the package delivers security the cost in terms of system degradation was bad to the point that my laptop slowed to the point of being unuseable! Moving from application to application was terribly slow and having multiple browser windows up slowed mail functions to a crawl. I do a lot of photo editing and it killed those aplications as well.
By removing phishing monitoring and other parts I was able to speed the processing somewhat. Hotmail was 100x better without e-mail scanning. McAfee also scanned my inbound e-mail for Outlook but it put so many wanted e-mails into the error folder that i had to check there to retrieve e-mails from trusted senders.
Documentation is tough to use so knowing how to set the suite up is a problem.
The sucker part is that I paid for a disk so that I could reload the suite after reloading my laptop but after a month and a half I have gotten nothing! I suppose this is how McAfee supplements their income!
I wasted my money on this package as I am going to have to buy another!
Update, I was told by McAfee support that it takes 4 to 8 weeks to ship the disks! I can get a movie or a book from Amazon in a couple of days but.... never mind! "
