Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 user reviews
Cons: Nothing really.
"
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Previous version had a more confusing activation interface. This Trend Micro Internet Security 2009 goes by so quickly, I had to check to make sure I was activated. Runs great on my 4 eeePC 901's. No noticable slowdown, even with only 2 GB RAM.
"
Cons: The box it comes in. The box it comes in about 10x bigger than needed. Alot of wasted space. Could be put in just a dvd case, including manual.
Other Thoughts: I got this suite to replace my soon to be expired panda internet security 2007. The panda suite worked ok. Somewhat bogged down the system and after awhile would have to be reloaded as it would corupt itself.
The computers I have the software on are an ibm 8189 p4 2.8ghz 512mb and an ibm 205e p4 2.6ghz 512mb. And as stated above you hardly even notice the new suite on them. I highly recomend Trend Micro Internet Security 2009.
"
Cons: It let a worm slip through, while I was out of town no less. A tech savvy friend of the family saved the day. This is the Internet Security Suite that my parents use, and it used to be good. Maybe not so much anymore. I have lost a lot of faith in this product. Going to look for something else.
Other Thoughts: Been using this product on the parents computer for many years. This year, they get a worm. Updates are done regularly, as I check the status of this from time to time. Not very happy. I wish 0 eggs was an option.
"
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: This WILL NOT quit working once the 1yr subscription is up. It'll quit receiving the latest virus updates. The only thing it won't do is catch any new viruses, worms etc because of out-dated virus definitions released after you quit getting new updates. All you have to do is renew the subscription which is pretty cheap and you're good to go again.
